I use ripway http://www.ripway.com/members/files.asp?path=\sigs and Every time I put it in my sig on another board it always says this Sorry, an error occurred. If you are unsure on how to use a feature, or don't know why you got this error message, try looking through the help files for more information. The error returned was: You are not allowed to use that image extension on this board. A valid format is: http://www.domain.com/picture.gif, an invalid format is: http://www.domain.com/picture.one.gif
I like to use sig rotators when I make a series of sigs that all go with one another. Like Metal Gearl Solid 3 sigs for example.
put all your sigs in one folder and also put the index.php script in there as well. And when you put it in your sig it should look like ^^^your host^^^^^folder with sigs

Your problem is that the boards you are going to don't allow php files. Do this: Set up your folder with the index.php file and gifs ready to go. Create a .htaccess file (or edit the one you have and add this line): Redirect /sig.gif http://www.yourdomain.com/pathtoindex/index.php [edit: make sure you change yourdomain.com to your domain, and the path to your folder path] Then set the link to your image on the board to [path to folder that contains the .htaccess]/sig.gif
It's a fancy text file... [edit: I guess I should give more information, lol. When a computer calls on the server for a particular folder or file, the server checks the .htaccess file. If there is a notation about that folder or file, the server follows those instructions and ignores the path provided by the client. So, effectively, you can send them anywhere. This way, it thinks it's accessing a .gif file, but really its going to php file. This should work, because I did the same thing to bypass that issue. ] If you don't have one in your folder, just open up note pad, add that line of text, save it. Then change the name to .htaccess (NO .txt) and upload
