howabout a section for downloads!?

a section for members to upload anything they like, mp3s, custom made music videos, funny pics etc etc etc

 

That would lead to warez, etc.. and just pointless.. I say thats a nono.

 

or u can download brushes opr w/e

no because then you would make the site slow, you would have like 20 million ppl trying to download and then you have another 500 ppl trying to get renders and view the fourms.

 

Three good reason why NOT to have a downloads section:

1) There is not enough bandwidth to facilitate such a feature.

2)

- Yes, lets open the gates to warez, rips, illegal music and get the site shut down! *claps*

3) Which part of Game Renders includes Mp3s and music videos? Is it the Game or the Renders? You tell me.

There is already a user cache to upload files in threads etc, what is the point in having a downloads section?

Brushes - Already loads of sites for them
Software - Illegal
Music - Illegal
Videos - Too big
Pictures - If its that exciting, make a thread on it - tell the world

Agreed. However if you would like to share downloads such as brushes then there is nothing to stop you creating threads and linking to them.
