Live Aid was the original concerts back in 1985. It was mainly to raise awareness of the poverty in Africa. Whereas this year coincides with the G8 Summit to be held here in Scotland and is to attempt to get the politics behind the poverty changed. G8 Summit - The 8 richest countries get together and discuss the economy, politics etc etc. Bob Geldof has asked 1 Million people to descend upon Edinburgh. Problem's there has not been a G8 without trouble. Lets just hope we don't get any terrorists here.
im goin to the one in philly, i live like 30 minutes from the city, i dont know y its free but i no u can get premium seating for a lot of $$$ i wish i was goin to see the one in london (U2, Paul McCartney, and the ORIGINAL PINK FLOYD LINEUP) but the one in philly is gonna be just as great two
