thats a hard question both games are the best FPS's ive ever played..but i htink i gotta give it to halo 1..just because they made halo 2 way to easy to kill peopel with the dual weiding and all that extra crap
Halo 1, because the single player is so mmuch more varied with a good story (And i love the warthog run!) Also, the camera in halo 2 annoys me, because it seems much too close...
you know wat im so sicken tired of ppl saying blah blah halo1 & halo2 which 1 better sorry just my opinion i believe they are both great games with lots of time effort put into it halo1 you can also play online its called Xbox Connect & its free! so i believe they are good games but not the greatest and ---- lol but overall Halo2 got so much more money with all the ppl gettin all excited pissin their pants when they get it @ 12:00 am! lol
Depends cause HALO 1 deffinately had a better single player story line but HALO 2 had the xbox live feature. I would have to go with HALo 1 though.
The whole idea of being the Coventant was gay! Halo 1 was much better. H2 just kinda went big because of halo. H2 ruined the pistol *sniffle* and just made up some gay covenant weapons to "balance out" the weapons for both sides, which didnt work. The only thing Halo 2 has that Halo doesn is the fact of double wielding, and the fact you control each gun individualy thats []D [] []\/[] []D [] []\[]. Halo is the best game over the 2. KILLZONE on the other hand......

Im not jelous i dont have it or cant play it... Halo 2 is an awesome game, but Halo PC is better, reasons you ask? - Duel weilding... wow cool... at first... until you realise it messed up the most balanced weapon system EVER - No Pistol (your thinking "OH NOES PISTOL WHORE MISSES HIS PISTOL") nop, I miss what it did to the balance of the game, since EVERYONE started with a powerful weapon, everyone had a chance to defend themselfs in every situation, you where NEVER defenseless... but you still couldent only use a pistol, a plasma rifle = awesome close combat, shotgun awesome closecombat, sniper for long range and sometimes close up, flamethrower for mass and quick death etc etc See where Im going with the no pistol? it WAS the weapon balance. - No Fall Damage.... YOUR going on about halo 2 being more Realistic? rightio - Blowing up vehicals.... Yep very cool at first, and adds realism, add's stratagy, but does it add to the FUNness of the gameplay? no. - Grenades... what the hell did you do to them... i know the patch made them better but still... Halo 1's grenades where easy to aim, and easy to dodge, pefect, in Halo 2 their kinda random... - Melee's, yeah the patch made them better, but still their no where near good as Halo 1 melees, In halo 1, if you where in range to melee attack, you would TRY and melee the guy almost everytime (unless you had a shottie or something) In halo 2, why waste your time meleeing? spray the sucker with your duel weilds! And dont go complainging about Realism again, How is master chief able to survive being shot in the face with 2 sub machine guns shooting BULLETS, but not afew punches? - Halo 2 shotgun = most inconsistant gun EVER Yes Ping is bad, but it has spawned something which makes Halo PC better than Halo1 on the xbox and Halo 2.... LEADING... This makes the gap between newbs and pro's BIGGER..... Let me give you an example: HaloPC: 2 master chiefs engage in combat, both armed with pistols, a pro and a person who's been playing 2 weeks... More than 95% chance the pro would win... Halo 2: 2 master chiefs engage in combat, both armed with plasma rifle/ smg combo.... they start firing at the same time.... a pro and a person whos been playing two weeks, around 60% the pro would win.... I've asked my brother whos plays Halo 2 around 10 hours a day on weekends( way too much ) and he agreed soo much... Leading is a factor of HaloPC which is learnt through the damage indicator sound ( that binging when you damage someone ), this is why there's such a difference between pro's and new people on HaloPC. Oh and it depending on your ping? Nawww, I always play with 100-160 ping and I dont really seem to be at a disadvantage... although I agree people with 30-60 ping have a slight advantage. Not alot though... >_O Ofcourse if your on 56k, you shouldent be playing an online game... Yeah the new weapons are cool and creative, I agree! but still, the weapon balance on Halo PC is better.... Graphics dont make the game, and with a good graphics card, HaloPC can look pretty damn good... matchmaking you say? oh dear.... yeah I like the freedom of the server list... you can play EXACTLY what YOU want, not have xbox live choose for you in matchmaking.... and the level system? YEP it IS a very good system. A matches you up with people with your skills level... but it kinda takes away the diversisty of the players... from the people who stand still and strugle to find the button which change's the weapon, to the ownerizers... I dont wanna fight people who are the same skill level as me all the time, I wanna own some newbs and fight off the pro's in the SAME game. "you dont have to use a gay mouse/keyboard" POINT OF VIEW, just because you dont like using a keyboard/mouse dosent make the gamebad... Better maps you say? Also point of view... Classics like Chillout and hang em high are awesome... and how can you say the old maps where bad? Halo 2 is has versions of longest(soon), wizard, blood gulch(Halo2 butchered this map to bits), and battlecreek.... Friends lists? well, I have Xfire... Msn if i wanna contact people... and everyone in SC... To adressafew more points -"pistol being over powered... kills in 3 shots!! omg!!..." I have NEVER seen anyone kill everytime in 3 shots... it extremly hard to do... -"grenades are too powerful in Halo1!" in real life a frag grenade next to you would blow your limbs off... but sinse he's wearing a supersuit of sorts, I think the damage is pretty spot on... - HaloPC is basically cheat free... do you ever see a person flying around the map killing you with one shot every time like my brother encountered on matchmaking the other day? hmm no... Do people standby on HaloPC... no... Well that basically answers all your points.. took awhile .... Halo2 is a GOOD game, but I'm sorry, HaloPC is a better game.
