    hey guys,
    when i try to 'save optimised as' in image ready,
    i need to save it as a .gif but all i can save it as is a .jpg or .html
    and when i veiw either of those they arent animated.
    how do i save as i .gif?

    anyone gunna help me???
    just to reiterate...
    i wanna save my imageready animation as a .gif but my only options are for .jpg or .html

    Preview in it ie if you're doing it from Image Ready. The image that it previews in ie will be a gif. Save the image from there, and you have your animated gif.

    when you scroll down in the list (of types you can save it as) before you save, you should see the word something like GIF.*

    it dosent make sense why you wouldnt have it

    Its to do with the mode its already on open your image in imageready and do the following
    1. Clic onto windows on the Menubar of imagready
    2. Then click optimise
    3. Make sure that the format type is GIF - If it aint it might be selected as JPEG so change it to GIF format
    4. Now go into Menu>Save optimised as... and GIF type should be there
