These animals are not for fur coats. This is in korea i think, the people killing the animals like this, do it to eat the stupid animals in there restaurants. And 99 percent of the time the animal is killed. But the idiots at peta, paid them, alot of money to make a video like this.

Korea is a poor contry, and people there will do anything for cash. And peta paid them to do this. I am pretty sure it is korea..But if mite me cuba or sumthing, i forget.

All i have to say is why did u donate cash to these idiots before looking into it? This is NOT how fur companys make fur items, there methods are completly humane. They take a dead animale and skin it. They don't skin it alive.

So please people..Look into the facts before jumping to conclusions.

You guys are all sissies. PETA are a bunch of dumb sh|ts. They have no clue how anything like that works. I have articles that prove they are the sick people doing these things. Here is one of many you might find interesting. Get your facts straight, and don't waste money by sending it to them, they will most likely just use it for their personal enjoyment, considering they don't actually save animals. DON'T BE FOOLED by the slick propaganda of PETA, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. The organization may claim to champion the welfare of animals, as the many photos of cute puppies and kittens on its Web site suggest. But last week, two PETA employees were charged with 31 felony counts of animal cruelty each, after authorities found them dumping the dead bodies of 18 animals they had just picked up from a North Carolina animal shelter into a Dumpster. According to the Associated Press, 13 more dead animals were found in a van registered to PETA.

The arrest followed a rash of unwelcome discoveries of dead animals dumped in the area. According to veterinarian Patrick Proctor, the PETA people told North Carolina shelters they would try to find the dogs and cats homes. He handed over two adoptable kittens and their mother, only to learn later that they had died, without a chance to find a home, in the PETA van. "This is ethical?" Proctor railed over the phone. "I don't really think so."

This is not the first report that PETA killed animals it claimed to protect. In 1991, PETA killed 18 rabbits and 14 roosters it had previously "rescued" from a research facility. "We just don't have the money" to care for them, then PETA-Chairman Alex Pacheco told the Washington Times. The PETA animal shelter had run out of room.

The Center for Consumer Freedom, which represents the food industry, a frequent target of PETA campaigns, released data filed by PETA with the state of Virginia that shows PETA has killed more than 10,000 animals from 1998 to 2003. "In 2003, PETA euthanized over 85 percent of the animals it took in," said a press release from the lobby, "finding adoptive homes for just 14 percent. By comparison, the Norfolk (Va.) SPCA found adoptive homes for 73 percent of its animals and Virginia Beach SPCA adopted out 66 percent."

The Center's David Martosko considered PETA's hefty budget -- reportedly, $20 million -- and many contributions from well-heeled Hollywood celebrities, then figured, "PETA has enough money in the bank to care for every unwanted animal in Virginia (where it has its headquarters) and North Carolina."

PETA prefers to spend donations, apparently, not caring for flesh-and- blood animals entrusted to it but on campaigns attacking medical researchers, meat-eaters or women wearing furs. It is as if PETA prefers the idea of animals to animals themselves.

Why does PETA kill animals that might otherwise find a home?

I repeatedly phoned PETA, but never reached an official who would answer my questions. PETA's Web site spun the story under the banner, "PETA helping animals in North Carolina" with an emphasis on its efforts to "solve the animal overpopulation in North Carolina." Here's more: "PETA has provided euthanasia services to various counties in that state to prevent animals from being shot with a .22 behind a shed or gassed in windowless metal boxes -- both practices that were carried out until PETA volunteered to provide painless death for the animals." Make that painless deaths for animals that could have found love.

Besides, PETA always has been about killing animals. A 2003 New Yorker profile included PETA top dog Ingrid Newkirk's story of how she became involved in animal rights after a shelter put down stray kittens she brought there. So she went to work for an animal shelter in the 1970s, where, she explained, "I would go to work early, before anyone got there, and I would just kill the animals myself. Because I couldn't stand to let them go through (other workers abusing the animals.) I must have killed a thousand of them, sometimes dozens every day."

That's right. PETA assails other parties for killing animals for food or research. Then it kills animals -- but for really important reasons, such as running out of room.

Martosko hopes animal lovers will learn that their donations will do more good at a local animal shelter than at PETA. "For years," he added, "we thought that PETA just cared for animals more than they cared for humans. But now it seems they don't care much for either."

No lie about not caring for people. In 2003, Newkirk hectored late Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat because a terrorist blew up a donkey in an attempt to blow up people. Newkirk also told the New Yorker the world would be a better place without people. She explained why she had herself sterilized: "I am opposed to having children. Having a purebred human baby is like having a purebred dog; it's nothing but vanity, human vanity."

Now you know. People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals doesn't really like people. PETA has no use for ethics. And PETA kills animals.

PETA possibly involved with dead dogs

AHOSKIE - A month-long investigation into animal cruelty has resulted in a pair of arrests, individuals possibly linked with PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals).

On Wednesday, Andrew Benjamin Cook, 24, of 504 Tree Top Street, Virginia Beach, Va. and Adria Joy Hinkle, 27, of 1602 Claremont Ave., Norfolk, Va. were each charged with 31 felony counts of animal cruelty and eight misdemeanor counts each of illegal disposal of dead animals.

Both were transported to the Hertford County jail, each under a $35,500 secured bond.

Ahoskie Police Chief Troy Fitzhugh said Cook and Hinkle posted bond prior to incarceration.

"We've been investigating animal cruelty and illegal disposal of dead animals within our city for the last four weeks," Fitzhugh said. "Our investigators determined that these incidents were occurring every Wednesday for approximately one month."

Yesterday (Wednesday) law enforcement officials with the Ahoskie Police and Bertie County Sheriff's Office were able to observe a white panel van drive next to the commercial dumpster located behind Piggly Wiggly in Newmarket Shopping Center. A person in the van tossed several dark-colored bags in the dumpster before the van attempted to pull away.

At that time, a traffic stop was initiated on the van - a vehicle occupied by Cook and Hinkle.

The bags located in the dumpster contained 18 dead dogs, including one bag containing seven puppies. An additional 13 dead dogs were found in the van.

A license check revealed the van was registered to PETA in Norfolk, Va.

It is not yet confirmed if Cook and Hinkle are official representatives of the animal rights group.

However, Detective Sgt. Ed Pittman of the Bertie Sheriff's Office confirmed, through the county's Animal Control Officer, that Cook and Hinkle identified themselves as PETA representatives from Norfolk, Va.

"According to Barry (Anderson, Bertie's Animal Officer), the man and woman told him they were picking up the dogs to take them back to Norfolk where they would find them good homes," Pittman said.

Pittman added that as far as he knew, persons identifying themselves as PETA representatives had picked-up live dogs at the Bertie Animal Shelter for at least the last two months.

Anderson, also involved in Wednesday's surveillance and subsequent arrest, was able to positively identify nearly all of the dogs found in the dumpster as the ones picked-up just a few hours earlier on Wednesday by Cook and Hinkle.

"Barry documents the animals as they are received at the animal shelter," Pittman noted.

Two of the 31 dogs were kept for an autopsy. The remainder were properly buried on Town of Ahoskie property.

Chief Fitzhugh praised the work of his lead investigator, Detective Sgt. Jeremy Roberts, as well as the outstanding corporation between his agency and Bertie County Sheriff Greg Atkins and his investigators.

Also it is obvious since you were all so grossed out by the skinning movie that you have never hunted or trapped anything in your life whether it be deer, rabbit, coons, turkey, etc. If you trap a coon to skin and sell at the market, you might have to kill it if it has not died from the legtrap. If you hit it over the head with a log or 2x4 you will know that they have spasms for a few minutes after they are dead. Just like how chickens run around after you chop off their heads. It has something to do with the nerves that keep these body parts moving. So that animal was most likely not alove while he was skinning but just having spasm after it was killed from him hitting it on the ground just like hitting it with a log or 2x4. But you guys are all city folk and are sissies so I doubt you woul have known that.

YOU OBVIOUSLY DIDN"T WATCH THE VIDEO, CUZ EVEN AFTER BEING SKINNED, YOU COULD OF EASILY SEEN THAT IT WAS MOVING BY MUSCLE IN FREE WILL, NOT BY NERVES!!! I CAN UNDERSTAND THOUGH YOUR A COUNTRY FOLK, AND A FAG, so you probably are to stupid to understand the science behind dieing. Go collect some logs for the fire, NOW!

You can shut your mouth because, again you don't have any facts toback up your words. I have killed many a rabbit, coon and turkey. That is how they react if they are killed a certain way, for example if you get a head shot on the animal, or the arrow hits a certain nerve in the body. That is how they react, I have seen it many times with my own two eyes not just one movie on the net. So please do not question what I say because I am one of the few on this site maybe the only one who has actually seen it in real life and have something to compare that movie you posted to.

EDIT: I see you didnt comment about the articles again, but resorted to attacking the facts I posted about the nerves. Hmm, cat got your tounge city boy? Maybe you just know your wrong and think you can get back at me the way you did which really had no authority at all.

awww man.................Why do you insist on going on, I don't wanna keep trashin you. First of all, YES I HAVE SEEN SOME DEATHS, EVEN HUMAN DEATHS!!!!! In fact I've seen my uncle get murdered with my own "2 EYES." a guy stabbed him to death for his money. Then he took off with his car.
