Okay, my Firefox is acting up, so much that it's basically worthless now, most of the extensions that I use the most I can't anymore, my bookmarks are regularly erased, and ever after uninstalling and reinstalling it this still happens, so I just want to know, what's a good browser (besides IE) that's similar to Firefox? I've been wanting to check out Opera, is that good?

"my bookmarks are regularly erased" whould be better if u just fix that... not that hard...just a few changes in the options....and yeah opera is gd..but not as gd as firefox ;) so i've got a similiar problem ...it's iritating after a while so the best if u check out afew things...first i bet u have all the other bookmark just somewhere u dunno like.. my bookmarks"D:\Documents and Settings\TheLamantin\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles" n they got "earsed recently" but actually they r still there just firefox change the profile... like i have 2 firefox profile now ... i can't see any use of them besdies they have different bookmarks!<<<maybe ur problem? huh?
hope it was understadable n helped if not...then prolly i can't help...this is what i experienced about bookmarks in firefox so far...

Well, I'm trying Opera right now, and it's pretty good, if I have any problems with it, I'll go back to Firefox and use multiple profiles, but right now Opera seems fine

Check your pm man, i say opera is the fastest browser available...why? look here:

    http://www.howtocreate.co.uk/browserSpeed.html#winspeed

Opera is the fatstest for everything, it wins every test.

I say opera is the safest browser...why? :

Opera uses automatic 128-bit encryption, the highest available security of any Web browser.

So i think its fairly obvious which is the best browser

Who cares?-theres just a few seconds(or less)between the browsers, and besides when youve got a high-end comp with hyper fast broadband(like me)you care even less!

BTW i use IE 6.0, which ive never had any problems with.

It's acting up? Try just reinstalling. A browser doesn't "act up" for no reason, there might be something wrong with your computer.

Why not try Maxathon? It was a great browser for me before I switched to FireFox.
