    Hey guys!

Its been a dam while since ive posted on here! and that is because Ive been working hard at my job etc and doing all the RL stuff..well ya know..:)

The problem that i have is, I cant seem to get photoshop onto my new pc, I thought I would try and install it today as I was in the mood for gfx at last! after about a year or more, Ive copied my copy of Pshop onto CD...and put it on the new comp but it just skips the instalation process and tries to load up without that in that case it wont work because its not setup, Ive tried numerous times and not sure why its skipping the install process.

if anyone could help me out with this id greatly appreciate ot, or if anyone could hook me up with a copy + image ready if they have the time, I dont like downloading big files from peer to peer programs, so Im asking here.

    thanks agian for any help!

Try to go into your CD drive and run setup that way if that fails try using a virtual drive by creating a image of PS and running through there eg Alcohol if that fails copy might be dodgy

How did you copy your PS? If you tried to copy the installed one, It wont work that way. You should use your original disk that you "bought" and reinstall it that way.

if you copied the files:there are hidden files in the computer wich are required to use PS.
if you copied the install disk:most discs are now programmed to make copieing fail. i beleive that is the case on PS 7.0 and up.

ok what yoru doing is copying the installed files onto a disk so you might instead try and go to your source folder where you go the file in the C drive in program files.. copy all of that adobe photoshop folder onto a disk. then copy the installed files. then run the steup and it should have the files it needs to actually run the installation. what yoru doing is your telling your computer to install without prgram files. and without the proogram files the computer thinks its already installed. but its not so just copy all of the program files onto a CD then try it. if it still doesnt work there is one more thing i have thta it might be

the problem with that is that when you go tot start PS, it will look for the cd. you will have to have the cd every time you want to use it.
