Best Way To Cut

Ok well i ahve made soem sigs and what not, but still I must aska noobish question. What is the best way to cut out renders posted here? WHen ever i cut out a render I always make the pic resolution to 500 and color to 16 bit so it looks good. As for cutting I always use the magnetic lasso tool and alot of times it attracts to thinks I dont want it too, and can ruina good 20 minutes of trying to cut out a peice of art that has been rendered by soem one here.So i coem to you with this question. What is the best way to cut? Please keep in mind I have a wirless mouse and my mouse pad isnt very large, so im often picking up the mouse a relocating it on the pad... Sorry for sucha noob question I wll accept the flames

 

u can either use the Brush Tool or the Pen Tool

 

really u can use the pen tool to cut out a render?

 

use it like u would use a lasso tool,just click; dont drag unless u have knowledge of adding achor points.

 

zoom in at 1200% or whatever and use the pen/poly lasso tool.
