Many people asked me to get Camtasia, so I finally did. Many requests also came pouring in on a tutorial of how to make the explosion effect in my current Republic Commando sig, so that's what this is all about. My mic is pretty homo, so don't mind some of the static, and my warped voice. It's 159megs in total, in avi format. I have my screen running on a higher resolution (1280x1024), so that's why its a large file, even after compression. The vid: http://www.phazongraphics.co.uk/tutorials/...xplosiontut.avi Comments and Criticism is welcome as always, and attached is the final result. EDIT: You may need DivX to watch this since it is in AVI format. Some newer versions of WMP support this, but if you don't have the codec, it can be found here: http://www.techsmith.com/download/tsccdefault.asp EDIT: Zip file of the 4 brush sets used in the tut: http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~supersmashbrot.../TutBrushes.zip Edit2: New version in WMV format, split into 4 smaller parts. The tutorial is in four segments. http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~supersmashbrot...losiontut00.mpg http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~supersmashbrot...losiontut01.mpg http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~supersmashbrot...losiontut02.mpg http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~supersmashbrot...losiontut03.mpg
mmm I downloaded it but i can't open it. <_< ;( with Media player, Bs player (only hear sound), Realplayer, Quicktime Strange BSplayer errors: 'UNKNOW FILE FORMAT (TSCC)'
I updated the first topic with a link for the codec. I wasn't aware that my host had it reformatted when he uploaded it. Sorry for the difficulties.

MT...erm...I kinda love you... <3 I still want your msn, but meh. Awesome tutorial, truly. Gotta go to sleep now but ill make another and post my results in the morning. Wonder if this works with my brushes...hmm il check.
I didn't. That is how it was when you sent it to me. I just Google searched the error I was getting when I tried to watch it and found that codec to be the solution to the problem. This one is really going to hurt my bandwidth, but it is worth it. Once again, great job MT.
