I think we should have a render of the week thing..Like sig of the week..but with renders. And there would be prizes and such like in sig of the week and what not..I think it would be a good idea..

Like staff pick a pic, and people have to render it

Yea, I like the mods and admin picking it part, so everyone has a fair, same quality pic.

I think maybe render of the Month instead

why would 20+ people waste their time rendering ONE picture when they could be rendering other pics? it would be hard to find a winner too because the results could be very similar..

 

its a good idea but how would you judge if one render is better than the rest?

 

1. The results will all be similar.

2. Either Jesse or *blood* will always win.

I would not always win lol. Sides i mite not enter all the time either..And as for how it woudl be judge..Hmm...Id have to think about that

Well, I think the winner could be decided on the quality of the render and the subject that the render is on. Say someone could do a Zelda render really well, but it's a render that about 10 people render everyday....then they wouldn't win.

It'll be impossible to judge. Sure, there will be some that are terribly bad and you can single them out easily. Then there are those with people who actually know how to render, and do a (near-)perfect job. I bet there are at least 5-10 great renderers out here who aren't as pronounced as jesse and blood. And really, a lot of the times, rendering is a matter of sitting down and doing it more than skill. Sometimes people don't enter just because it takes too much time

 

its kinda hard to judge bro.. unless see who can magic wand best and make the picture perfect.... LOL

Lol i unno...Maby u coudl take the render, and place it over the orginal pic, and see wich matches the out line the best
