Grrr, I Hate My Pc

    ok i was rendering a picture

    i was 1/3 to half way finished

    and suddenly, it restarted, everything lost, and i can begin all over again :(

    im going to get myself a cookie


    and can anyone help me with this restart problem......

    Save often, maybe run a virus/spyware scanner.

    yeh i did, just ran hitman pro 2
    and the virusscan.
    but thats not the problem i think

    I suggest you use McAfee

    its not a virus. im sure.
    its something in the pc that isnt working

    ya, it might be something in the pc that is causing it to restart. a bad memory stick, the computer gets too over heated, or you have bad hardware installed.

    yeah well. i shouldv been a very godo computer when be boughted.
    but if i play a game, like w3

    after half an hour, it freezes, or restarts

    my guesse is its the power supply, they are relatively cheap to replace though so yeah... get ti checked before you bother with it though.

    Well, that just teaches you to save often.

    The same thing used to happen to my laptop, but I think it's because it got overheated.

    soundsw either power supply, overheating, bad memory, or bad hard drive...

    What exactly happens when it restarts, does it flash a blue screen right when it shuts down or what?

    I would suggest getting a power supply over 500 watts and mebe get some fans.... sounds like ur computer is over heating. Open ur computer up and check if all ur fans are working.
