Sigs

    Hey i have been here a while now and i never found out what the largest size for a sig was.

    If someon would tell me i would really appreciate it.

    There is no default maximum size.. it is completley up to the designer.

    i guess it can go up to 700x300 before it get cut

    Make it HUGE, then crop it.

    You can make them really big, but sometimes it is not the best choice. For dial up users it makes page loads slow. Sometimes it is hard to fill up such a big space too. But it is up to you. Most people seem to do from 300 to 500 pixels in width and 100 to 200 pixels in height.

    Notice:

    A sig can have any size.
    The are no rules.
    As long it is a signature.

    Exactly what coke says, your signature could be 1000x1000 or even 10x10 for all anyone cares, whatever you put in your signature box is your signature. Biggest would be watever you can fit..

    sigs stands for signature and i dont think there has ever been a regular size. I mean people just have adapted to the small size bc its easy to make. Making a large piece could take hours as a sig can take 15min-2hours

    mine are all sizes, who cares what they should be.
