Not everything that is in our premium render section originally belonged to someone else. People here do occasionally design the renders with programs or draw and scan them themselves. This is a big deal, especially of the people taking GR's renders to some other site like they did all the renders themselves. I have seen this a few times. For example some little graphics site called madgraphics or something like that had a link to someone's photobucket account with 8 or 9 pages of renders stolen from here. A few of mine included. Like I said, you cut the images out for public use, they use it, then you cry about it, they don't need your permission to do anything with anything, how hard is that to understand?
I dont have a problem so im ok with it. Before you moan about my sig, i didnt rip of some guy named Xenon. Thats the name i use now on my board and on various other boards. Im jus too damn lazy to put Jon_Rowley on them for one or two boards
It kind of seems like you are just trying to get power somehow Vexta... We dont need a "Render Inspector", because no matter what they do, they will just keep ripping.. I mean, if someone told you to stop doing something, but you thought there was no reason to, you wouldnt stop. So if someone says- "Hey, stop ripping renders!" the person might just be like- "Why, its not like its copyrighted or anything".... Im sure all rippers are gonna be stubborn..No need for this really, mods can do this themselves, or even members can point out ripped stuff... Not like we need some "special people" to do it for us. And tell me this also, do you think you could memorize EVERY single render made by somebody? No...
I agree with Sushi , the renders are not yours, god the pictures arent yours either, 99% of the "renders" on this site are made by good artists and ruined by "renderers"/ I hate it when it happens... I havent used a render from here in like 3 months. But thats just my opinion and I guess Sushis
To be technically correct here....about 95% of the renders I post were made by ME in C4d. That means they are mine, and I don't like seeing them on other sites where people claimed they made them. What's even worse is when they cut out my tag that I've been leaving for a while now. I made them and posted them here for people to use here. Not to take and claim as their own. I wouldn't mine someone asking permission to put them somewhere else, but only about 1% of the people here would even do that. But you guys are right on one thing...we don't need a special "ripper investigator". It is pointless, and people just need to look out for each other, seeing that we are trying to be a "community". If you see a render ripped from here take 5 secs to alert the person that made it. Once things get reported around here, the mods and everyone else usually do a good job to point out the ripper and make sure it known. Kudos to the mods on handling the rippers thus far. :clap:
You aren't talking about ripping renders, are you? Because what's the point of putting up a render on the internet if you don't plan on having people use it. On the other hand, if you're talking about sigs, I can understand, but there's a reason people say to put your name clearly in it, that should stop most rippers, and if there's somebody out there who's good enough to take out your name, he's probably good enough to make his own sig, and is just being an @sshole. In that case, I'm sure that if you were to PM a mod, they'd b7, warn, w/e.

Well there is an easy way to solve this, if you dont want your renders to be ripped, put an anti rip on it, or dont post it on the internet! I mean come on, you are taking the risk of getting your renders ripped if you post them.

[/b][/quote] I only bitch about these few things Copirighted art used in sigs, sigs called art,and brushes distributed in packs withouth permission,and rendering pictures that are not from games and are not made by the poster.(da,cged pics,etc) !
