    For some reason I am unable to open up .rar files. Anyone know how to help me?

    do a google search for a program winrar..........get the free trial one it still works after expires

    you need a program called WinRAR which you can get for free from download.com ,im sure you know download.com it does all the windows stuff etc... :)

    Or you could get WinACE which opens .zips, .rars, and much more.

    true true ,but i think each seperate program is better ,not as confusing :P

    I use WinZip and Winrar.

    By the way, you can option :

    WinRAR : rarlabs.com
    WinZIP : winzip.com
    WinACE : winace.com

    Personally, I don't reeally like ace...

    Winrar free trail last forever for me idk why but it did

    Really? Interesting.
    If anyone like a freeware then I'd suggest 7zip. It supports a crapload of extensions and its free. The url is...um I'm too lazy to find out, google it yourself :P.

    Once I started using winrar, I never went back to winzip. it sux compared to winrar

    You can use Winrar after it has expires, but it pops up every so often telling you to register it. And if you're wondering the trial period is 40 days at last check

    each program is better because it opens them up better and compresses the files better. You could get winzip because that opens them but i use winrar and thats the best for openin up the file
