Any1 Know How To Hex Really Good?

    heh well i guess youre either a CS player that wants to cheat, or just an interested person.
    about hacking (not hexing, thats not a word), you need to understand atleast a little about programming. to succesfully edit a file (that it still works) you need to read and understand the file first. you save your file as a backup, open the file, change something, now open both the backup and the new file and start comparing and see what has changed.
    i am not very good, but i can edit files i guess.

    I think he means like he copied a game that can only be illegaly played when you edit a file

    Im surprised how many conclusions people can get to here. How did people get to the assumption that he wanted to crack(Notice I didnt say hack) a peice of pirated software.

    You can do what I used to do with Hex. Change the names of menus and stuff and make your own EXE out of it. Its pretty cool.

    Yes but for older games, Like made in 97, You can hex the EXE's and change menu's. You can also cheat, But I used it for fun.

    hexing is fun :) and it is not only for crackign illegal software. I havent done anything much though...
