    <img src=\'http://home.comcast.net/~gnnss/g70/emo/ae-emo-1-111.gif\' border=\'0\' alt=\'user posted image\' /> hi folks

tut? like I said : these are made in Cool3D 3.0 (C3D) from Ulead ?
anybody have that and know how to use it?
    1. TUT for for Cool3D 3.0 from ULEAD
    2. draw a single chainlink
    3. apply bevel, texture, lighting to get the gold look (save this style as a preset)
actually I think it's a default preset, if not, take the silver one and apply more yellow on the surface setting and that otherone, what's its name... (cant check now, am at work)
<span style=\'color:eek:range\'>=>I'll post the settings when I get home.
    1. copy and paste this several times and position each seperately
    2. when you have one side done, group them
    3. then copy the group and turn it 180° and position it.
    4. make another smaller chainlink and hang it vertically (apply the goldstyle preset)
    5. make a small ring (to attach the pendant, apply the goldstyle preset, but with less bevel, its a small ring)
    6. make a text and apply the gold preset
    7. then in Photoshop make the blingbling texture
got that from this tut Gangsta Diamonds . you only need the diamond part, and dont make it for a text string, apply it to a rectangular surface, dimensions : 600x400.
you can resize the texture in Cool3D.
flatten the image and then select all and copy
then go to C3D and check the "Get from clipboard" in the texture settings.
    8. In C3D apply that bling as a texture but only to the front face of the text, so deactivate all the other surface selections before applying the bling texture)
now save that style in a gallery preset
    9. position text so it joins up with the little ring
    10. group the ring with the last smaller chainlink and the text, call it the pendant group
    11. apply rotation and position to this pendant group
    12. select the proper background
    13. then save
    14. done. hope this helps
in the drawing section, experiment with curve tools... is to hard to explain, easier to understand if you try out yourself.

lol, thanks for setting that up here Coke :)

I dont wanna do a step by step tut with images, that would take me ages.
once you get the hang of the tools try this bling tut again and you'll understand that its pretty simple actually.

here are some more comprehensive tuts
    http://cool3design.hadgama.co.il/cool3design/

    PS:
the gold style is a stock setting, it comes with the program,
then you have to apply the diamond texture to JUST the front face of the text.

in photoshop... yes : static and only full frontal view...
lot of brush work to get the shine effect.

but how you gonna do the rotation or a view from the side?
also the lighting changes for every frame, you gonna do that manually frame by frame...
be my guest, I'll stick to my regular bling machine ;) : cool 3d
