why did you become a designer explain your story and if you can post your 1st designs MY storie~ well i would always go to a website and look at all the pretty looking graphics they made and i wanted to make something like it so i took out paint and did a horrible attempt i posted them on anime forums and they'd make fun of it and so. but then i asked my brother that owns a hosting company how he makes them and he showed me paint shop pro it was really good at that time but i did not use brushes or any thing just the options they gave me so my graphics where kinda dull so i went out and bought Fireworks 3.0 and made animations and graphics and stuff i was really good then and i even started my own site but then the site got closed down and i wanted too make another one but no one liked my graphics soon after that like a year after i was about 20i bout photoshop 6.0 finally bought 7.0 soon after and started making more graphics making sigs etc and reading tutorials and using brushes well my stories preaty lame but hey thats my storie i dont have a 1st sig i lost it along time ago
I just started messing around with photoshop, and following tuts on different sites, and all of a sudden I got really good.
Sa wpeople making graphics. Started using paint and found out my bro has Photoshop on his comp. Then used from there on.
Fallenangel came to my clans site and said we could have free sigs, i though i could make better got my first sig i made for myself . i like to think i have progressed from that
I first started off making pretty patterns and stuff on Paint Shop Pro 7, then started to make sigs on it afterwards cuz I always liked other people's graphics. My sigs sucked a lot but at the time I wasn't really much bothered about graphics. Then my mum's boyfriend said he did graphic designing on Photoshop and stuff like that and I asked him if he could copy it onto out computer, cuz I wanted to carry on and take my graphics to the next level. So after I got Photoshop I tried it out and was really fun so I decided to learn a lot and go to great graphics sites (like GR). Most of what I know is self taught and figured out for myself. Some isn't, such as making brushes and using them, etc. A couple of friends taught me all that and this brings me up to my skills I have now. ^_^
joined a xbox live clan, went on their forums and some people has sigs. just decided i wanted one then it kinda stuck...
I was at school one day when my friend told me to join a message board he was at. Most of the people there had signatures, so I decided I wanted one. Then I found out my parents had Photoshop so I started making some graphics. Now I am here and at a couple other message boards centered around graphics and graphic design. And I lost my first Photoshop creation a while back so I can't post it.
I was following a tutorial for a pretty bad signature tutorial on the infinity ward forums (company that made call of duty , thats why i went there ) and some guy said "you can find pretty good renders here (link to gamerenders) so after awile i started coming back here more and more to read tutorials and that, and now i dont even go to iw site anymore This is my first sig. People said it sucked: And this is my latest (about 2 weeks lol )
If you will get technical it started for a pretty long ago... I saw nice sigs and I downloaded ps 7.0 or something... had it for a while didnt do much accept some touches of some pics I did for school but for not a long time ago I started to read some tuts and downloaded ps cs2 and started for a week ago making my own sigs
I started designing about a year ago, really got into it like march this year coz i joined a designz-forum in that month, really improved much in that time. this was my first ever sig, kinda sucks doesn't it??
