You cant really do much about them except them grow and grow , its survial of the fittest, the stronger sites survive while the rest come to us :D

To each their own. Chill out, Irrel. I'm on SS and GR, as well as a few other communities that you're a part of. GR is only one; to get a true community feel, you need to get more than one set of opinions.

Exactly, the best sites are the ones who the leader or one of higher ranks or all of them are very good.

The sites that fail are the beginner sites.

I beleive sigs are a good way to get into gfx because they teach you the basics that will come in handy when you start to make bigger and better things.

i believe its good to setup a gfx forum to help people begin learning photoshop with a forumyoucan guide ppl thru the program and skills while sociallising and making it fun
but then again i'd stick to just one gfx forum

    I disagree.
If you aim to be a professional designer, the best way to start out would be to try a variety of things.
Learn basic html, and try and make a personal website. Or have a go at photomanipulation.

You see, the problem is, all the people who are new to graphics that visit these forums may see graphics (or "gfx) as just sigs.
They will aim to be a good sig designer, and go no further.

That's the problem, we need quality sites that teach more than just grunge sigs.

I think ever since GameRenders opened everyone thinks they can make a forum just like theres.. and well, they can't.

But yes, there are WAY to many graphics sites everywhere, and 98% of them all fail, and the rest have an average ammount of members. But I do give props to Eddied for Haze, he does have a nice graphics site, gj man, <3.

Too right there are. Most are small and barely have any active members.
