it's not reading my disc drive, if it wasn't for that i'd be ok...i don't think my cd's too scratched, it worked when i tried it on this computer (i didn't install i just tried it to see if it worked) cuz i have one that has boot with cd...i'm screwed aren't i
Probably, without seeing it in front of me, I dont think there is much more I can help you with. You may have a hardware problem too.
jesus man...that's rough. Uhm...yeah don't buy a new harddrive beacuse if the boot is messed up the BIOS chip is on your motherboard so getting a new motherboard should work, shouldn't it? If it's this bad get a new comp, but if you don't have the money then seek out a local best buy or computer store.
