    Crap i hav sp2 on my computer all ready so thanks but i can't use it

    im pretty sure u can uninstall SP2

    but i might be wrong im no computer wiz

    Nice find, And you can uninstall SP2. But honestly most people wont use the extra features enough to try and hack some of the registry keys, Which if you do the wrong thing, you can seriously mess up your machine. Plus when you download some updates, it will more than likely revet back to Home edition.

    This whole paragraph basically states it is illegal to do this.

    "There is one big drawback, though. Users won't be able to install Service Pack 2, unless they integrate SP2 in the installation CD. And that's probably too much trouble for most users, who of course are better off buying a legal version anyway. It is expected that Microsoft will change the setup files soon to prevent this hack."

    Don't know if I would try it..... then a gain I get free software because I'm part of the microsoft academic alliance, so I wouldn't need to anyway. :P

    simple idea is just to not install sp2 lol
