for some reason i carnt do this part

    9. now it would be wise to add a boarder on your sig before you put your text. For my sigs i like to use a 3px boarder with the bg in between two black lines. Heres how you do it.

    a. First, create a layer above everything even the color blanace
    b. Then, right click>select all
    c. Right click again>stroke

i did a new layer but when i right click i only see

    vector mask
    delete path
    define custom shape
    make selection
    fill path
    stroke path
    etc
    etc

all of which i carnt eithen click????

    any1 help?

really nice tutorial. Never did get the boarder working though so i went into MS paint and put a black border around the faded part ;) +rep for you. Good tutorial.

    Heres my result

hmm that is strange, it works fine for me, i'm using Photoshop 7 so if they changed any of the settings for PS CS or CS2 then i don't know what you can do.

If all else fails, get out the pencil tool and just go across painting one pixel black at a time, and just skip a pixel down to make the 3pixel boarder
