    I was messing around with filters and i made this...

    [IMG]

    Ok first my canvas was 6 inches by 2 inches.

    Paint The Background black
    [IMG]

    Use Filter->Render->Lens Flare
    I used the default Settings.
    [IMG]

    Duplicate the layer
    Then Use Filter->Distort->Ripple
    I used 105% Make shure that the size is Large
    Set the layer style to Hard Light and then merge down
    [IMG]

    Now Duplicate the layer again
    Use Filter->Artistic-> Poster Edges
    Edge Thickness 0
    Edge Intensity 0
    Posterization 6
    Set the layer style to screen
    Merge Down
    [IMG]

    Duplicate the layer
    Use Filter->Sketch->Chrome
    Detail 10
    Smoothness 10
    Set The Layer Style to either exclusion or difference
    Merge Down
    [IMG]

    And there you go feel free to mess with the filters.

    Great tutorial. Simple effects can be made into something no one thought could be made from it. Excellent work. : ;)
