OK, so whenever I want to put a render in a sig in PS, it goes wrong. I really don't know how to use images in PS....if you answer these few questions I should be ok 1: how do u resize stuff? 2: How come whenever I copy a render into PS, it has a black or white background, so covers up my sig. For example.... http://www.gamerenders.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=91 how would I get rid of that background (although some had no background, behind them there was only the colour of the forum...and then it becomes black when I copy it. Is there a better way to get it into PS, like saving it first? doubt that would solve the problem anyhoo 3: How do I move a picture from one PS window to another? as in, when a tut says "combine the render and the image" cheers EDIT: OK I found out how to change size and stuff from TaiPan's video tut (edit>transform>scale right?) Also, where do you all get your renders? from premium? I havent had access yet, so Im not sure how good it is
Well about the black/white bg issue, its a simple solution. PNG's cannot be "copied" straight from the browser through right click >> copy image. You have to save the image, open it with PS, then copy it from there. hope that helps. And yea, hang around the forums more and you'll get the premium seciton.
OK, cheers. Also found out that if I copy it from the net, I can just use the magic tool to take the edges off (although that wont really work if the image has black in it). I also found out that I can move stuff by holding ctrl, and I can resize like above......so Im done now feel free to close or whatever. Gradients are given me problems though <_< If you look at this tut, it says make layer mask (can do that ), and then use the gradient tool to make it look like it fades...look at the line at the bottom of his end product, its all nicely done. When I do it the line stays pretty obvious <_< Also that tut should be taken down, cos the link for the texture doesnt work.
Theres never a noob questoin when it comes to graphic designing, you shoud always ask when ur having trouble
