    I see alot of white though...

    ^ use that to get rid of the wihte.
    Just take a marquee lasso tool. Go all around the edge ( almoust exactly to the edge ) once you get around ( do this in sections or just the whole thing ) take you your magic eraser ( too make the bg transparent ) then add between .5 - 1 feather and hit the delete key once or twice and that white will be gone.
