Ok guys I hope you can help me.

Today I bought a iPod photo 30 gb. So I wanted to install everything and I did. (iTunes+some iPod updater program) And then I plugged my iPod, using the usb 2.0, in my pc. And then nothing happened. iTunes didn't open. Instead I got a sign in the place where you can see the little msn man. Thad said something like hardware found. So nothing happened, and my pc was suddenly going really slow. The start menu was going up slow. Even opening a map costs about 30 sec to open. (normal = 1 sec). So I thought let's restart and try it again. (I plugged out the iPod first) Then I started up and i still see the sign of the "hardware found" item on the msn place. (next to the clock). And my pc was still going very slow. So I can't open firefox and other programs. Only 1 i can open, easycleaner. But i pressed ctrl+alt+del and it said computer-usage 100%. And I also checked that my pc isn't full but i still have 20 gb left. I don't know what is causing that my pc is going so slow. Oh I tried to start up in safe-mode using F8 but it doesn't work. Pfff I want to use my new iPod but I can't.

It is really annoying, I hope you guys know what's going on. Oh and I also tried system recovery but when it loads up it says that it doesn't react. Would be great if u had a solution for my problem.

    Greetz,

I have a ipod..Same thing happend to me. Make sure:

You plug it into a use 2.0 port, anything else lags ur pc

If one usb port dosnt work, try another, sumtimes certain ones don't work.

Make sure ur ipod wasnt pluged in when u instaled the software :)

Is your ipod charged? Also, do your USB ports work? i mean, do you use them for anything else?
