herokeeper, if you mean your xp system is corrupted and you cant access it, try using a linux knoppix disk? Should let you browse the corrupted system and copy and files you want to save. If you have just lost your password then you could try this Boot from a knoppix disk and find the SAM.exe file usually located in C:\WINDOWS\system32\config copy this file somewhere (portable memory stick etc) Then use a program such as saminside (google it) to open the SAM.exe file, and it should recover your password ^not sure if that will work or if im allowed to post it...
