When I try to download a font off of dafont.com i try to move it to the font file. Everytime I try to move it there it says it is either invalid of damaged. Is that a problem with my computer, dafont.com, or the actual font?
I don't think it is a problem with dafont since it works for me. Are you putting the .ttf file in the folder or is it in a compressed folder (.zip, .rar, etc.)?
you need winrar, download it at http://www.softpedia.com then just go to search and type in winrar. then once it's downloaded go to http://www.dafont.com and download a font, then open it and it will automaticly go through winrar wizard, then extract it to my documents or anywhere else..then copy it from where you saved it and go to LOCAL DISK --> WINDOWS - FONTS then paste it in there. hope I helped.
First run the installer. It'll install Winrar into your computer. Once it's done it may ask you to restart the computer. Do so if it asks. Once this is open/download the font in it's zip/rar file then open it (double-click). Winrar will open with the file in its browser thing. Click and drag the contents to your desktop. Once they're there click and drag your mouse over them all. Once thats done right click on them and click on 'cut'. Then open 'My Computer' then 'Local Disk' and open the 'Windows' folders. It may ask you if you want to see the files inside. Click yes or the underlined words. Then open the folder called 'fonts'. Once your inside you will see all of your fonts. right click and select paste. =]
