Yeah...I have used some of those resources several times now and my machine has never run so good. The pandasoftware company that runs the ActiveScan is fantastic. Man it catches everything.
another real good site is www.webroot.com. download the trial version of spy sweeper, a really effective program better than the uns listed on the site. however it wont update after 30 days so u have to buy it or use it without the updates.
Cool site Ive used SpySweeper and Windows Washer Both From Webroot For about a Year Now , 2 Really good Prgrams. As well as Microsofts New Prgram a Must Get (Below) http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...&displaylang=en Beta , Still Good Anyaway Nowadays i run Windows Washer like 3 Times a Day , Spysweeper once a day and Microsoft AntiSpyware once to twice a Day. And It usually finds (0) cuz i keep my comp hella clean. :wub: I Run Disk Clean Up and Defrag Every Friday As Well. My Comp is 5 yrs old, and im poor so i cant get another one so i keep it in good shape. It Runs Just as Fast as my Friends New One!! Except In Counter-Strike , I get around 30-50 FPS with my GL Tweaks, cuz everything on my comp is onboard stock LOL!! :lol: Good Enuff For Me! , I Got Hardly any programs on my comp ne way :lol:
No problem guys. While the new MS program is good it will still miss half of the spyware on your machine that ewido and an activescan will catch. For those with serious issues run a hijackthis scan and check the log. If you dont recognize it then do some research on it before deleting or fixing.
