I prefere desktops. I hate those touchpads, I have to use a laptop at a desk with a mouse... and that defeats the point.

Well, I'm not much of a gaming person so I don't need these massive computers with high tech vid & sound cards and other ridiculous things. Usually I'm out a lot and I need a computer so I use my laptop. That's why I prefer 'em more to desktops.

Desktop's are much better than Laptops. Laptops are good for if you're like a business person where you're on the go and you can do work at Home etc..etc..But if you want it for gaming then do not buy a Laptop, you can get much better Graphics Card's for a Desktop, etc..

I prefer desktops, because when I type on laptops, my arm ALWAYS hits that touch pad and sometimes I start typing in places I don't want to type. Desktop all the way for me

Not totally true, Like I said if you are a business person then you would usually have your own Laptop that you take to and from work..Maybe if you need to finish something up you can do it at Home..

My laptop is 3 times as powerful as my desktop, and cost less....

I have a 100gig hard drive, geforce4mx4400 64mb, and an amd athlon64. Compared to my Desktop, that blows it out of the water. Not to mention I can run doom3 and HL2 simultaneously without problems if I want to. Laptops can be great, but high-end desktops are usually better in that regard. I love mine- gaming and designing on the go.
