My First Template

Thats the first website design i've ever made, what suggestions do you have for it? Also does anyone know any good tutorials about website design for GIMP or Paint.Net?

i can see it and well its just not that great of a site as the Grump guy thing would say looks Unprofesional

 

Don't mean to be rude but you should just start over all again.

Does not ook nice atall and is worse then Dillignts2 template.

Jus take more time on it, use better fonts, etc

 

ok thats for the criticism, but when i start again what should i do differently other than change the text used?

 

What I would do is search for some sites until you find a couple of templates you like, then get some ideas from them and start putting them together in GIMP(?). Just until you learn the basics etc.

If you know what I mean... Then when you start getting better, start exploring more doing your own things.

 

so i should look at other peoples templates and cory theirs and then once i get good at this attempt to make my own original templeates?

Well the layout is nice. But the images aren't all that great.

Maybe you should save your files as .png/.jpg/.gif instead.

 

could you explain why jpg gif and png are better?
