Hi all, I have created a basic search plug-in for the GameRenders forums for Firefox. You can download it from http://tinyurl.com/cnex7 Unzip the files and place them in the C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\searchplugins directory To use: Again, this is the basic search but works great. If you find any bugs, let me know. Thanks
Yeah, P2L have done this aswell, anyway nice job dude...shame i use a better browser than firefox tho.
what kind of browser do u use then? [/b][/quote] Right, what could be better than firefox? Oh yeah, thanks for the plug-in. Right on, this thing rocks. +rep for you.
i found opera to be really good, before firefox, then i switched..Plus Opera cost quite a bit of cash $40 now right? ~Ryan
Hey, how'd you go about making this, what programming language? I'd like to make something like this for another site since there search engine is always down for some reason.
Check out this site, http://mycroft.mozdev.org/download.html. Download the pdf instruction file. PM me if you have any problems.
Nice job dude with the FF plugin. Well I use Opera also it blocks just as much spyware and popups as Firefox but it is way faster than Firefox,IE etc. If anyone wants to see how fast it is goto deviant art or GR two sites that load slow and use FF then use Opera you will a noticeable difference in how fast everything loads. Also Opera is free but has Ads at the top of browser it costs $40 bucks for the one w/o the ads and you also get customer support.
