uh-huh... how did you come to liking them lol? They are one of the teams i love to see lose, dunno why but i just love to see em suffer, as well as arsenal lol.

Though renaldo is a great young talent, he was carving arsenal apart in the final.

Arsenal is two different teams pre and post the first match they lost that broke the 49 streak. ManU in that game was FREAKING aggresive on tackles, and the ref was blind. Most debated is the penalty which gave ManU the lead (sol campbell didn't even touch rooney if you see the play back), but there were a lot of other extremely bad calls. just to pick a few examples: van nistelrooy stepped on cole's shin on purpose, but no red card (well at least the fa was fair, and gave him a 3 game penalty afterwards). ljungberg solo'ed into ManU's half with only keeper and rio ferdinand on his tail. rio gets ljungberg from behind without getting the ball but received NO YELLOW CARD. reyes was tackled MANY times brutally by the neville bros, but they did not get yellow cards. list goes on forever.

after that game, the biggest lost was on reyes. he was a great striker before that, and after being tackled repeatedly he just lost all his spark. he's never fully recovered ever since.

anyways, that's not the debate here lol. football is like that. you can never say who wins until the end. penalties proved lehmann to have better judgement. luck or not, they won.

Yeah, i can agree that Man U was aggressive in that game, though if a team cant bounce back then they arnt that good. I commend Arsenal for lasting the game lol... no offence to em but they didnt really do anything to earn the win.

But thats what happens, you can earn it but it doesnt mean you'll always get it. Im just not a fan of penalty shoot-outs; id rather it be a re-play.

Were some sus tackles and penalty's in the final as well... I though Reyes had a good game, looked pretty dangerous most of the time, though Arsenal just didnt seem to ignite, and they shouldve brought the Frenchman (forgot his name, the forward) on sooner.

Well yea, I think their defensive work and Lehmann had a great part in keeping the clean sheet. Senderos is a great addition and replacement for campbell.

Penalty shoot outs really does depend on the mentality of the players. so it basically starts all over once penalties kick in.

You talking about Aliaderie? or however you spell his name. I've never seen hi play a lot, but most of the time he seems pretty average. Losing Henry is a great blow for arsenal that game, its like manU losing ronaldo and rooney at the same time.

damit! that'll teach me to stop watching when i think the games over! i stopped watching after milan scored that 3rd goal. liverpool was looking pretty pathetic. milan wouldnt have got that 2nd goal had liverpool not been so anal about that possible foul..

    oh well

Liverpool vs AC Milan. Liverpool won in penalty shoot-outs... that game... did good to get back after being down.

Now back to arsenal v man u; Yeah, Aliderie or whatever... he was probably their biggest impact player. He was in great form coming into the game, had scored in the last two games if im not mistaken.

But he waited till like 7 or so minutes left before he put him on. Cant say i agree, i wouldve done it just after half time. He needed to get in there, Bergkamp may be good, but he was totally defeated by the man u defence. Arsenal didnt play like the team they were and they almost paid for it.

It was tough to decide which team to go for in the game because im not really a fan of either lol.

OH no wonder you were saying he made an impact... you're talking about robin van persie, not aliaderie. (aliaderie didn't score a single goal this season anywhere for arsenal lol)

v.Persie has got a lil bit of henry's magic. he's capable of doing some things henry can. Indeed he was the most dangerous player that game. I think he almost made a goal in the last several minutes with a penalty shot but was saved by caroll.
