    Hiya ppl,

When i first had my comp i had Windows 98, i then quickly upgraded to Win XP, but that didn't work so i had a dual boot.

My comp went down while i was away, and my mom got some idiot to look at it, and the first thing he did was delete my Windows 98...

And not only that i no longer have the windows 98 disc.... does anyone know where i can d/l a copy of windows of 98??

you can legally download a copy off a torrent site as long as you own 98 legally as you can have backups of any software you own.
So try some free torrent sites, but 98 is very outdated and a copy may be hard to find. As around friends and family to see if they have an old copy lying around anywhere, most of them have one hidden in a closet somewhere.

He upgraded Windows XP on his machine, but I think there's something wrong with the installation. Because Windows 98 uses the FAT16 file system and Windows XP is using the NTFS system. Is it me or should he format the file system to NTFS system? Because sometimes, this happens due to the file system compatibility.
