Cant Make A New Doc B/c My "scratch Disks" Are Ful

    I'm trying to starts a new document in photoshop but it comes up with the error messeage that my "scratch disks" are full. I have now idea what these are or how to help this. It's not my hard drive because I have plenty of space there. Can anyone help me out?

    And please excuse the typos and appreviations in the title, I didn't have enough space.

    How much Ram dou have sumtimes cud be the fact too much running the background

    256 mb (gonna get that up soon). I thought of that too so I closed out of everything and it still couldn't go. Thanks for the help though because I think that might be the problem anyways.

    Go to Edit>Preferences>Plug-ins & Scratch Disks.
    Does it say "first: startup" ?
    Well if it does then enter your HD in "second".

    (My HD is split up into 3 partitions, thats why it says D:\)
