It barely counts as a manipulation 'cause of the glowy effect and that's it. Changing color is not manipulating.

manipulate an image means give it a diff look, so as the tutorial.
anyway here is my result i think it came out good, I like the effect.

 

Your outcome is nice. I'm just saying that the only part in this tut that is manipulating the photo is the glowy effect.

Changing color itself isn't manipulating because you can do that during the developing process of a photo.
