When you go into the FileManager, tell me all the directories that are shown...

You either need to upload the file in the /www/ directory or the /public_html/ directory. That'll be www.yourdomain.com/file.ext

    Thanks a lot!

I've only recently gotten acquainted with Cpanel. I did use Cpanel a few previous times when working for a customer, but I always had a custom control panel for my site, until I switched hosts. Cpanel's a bit advanced for new users to websites and even for those who're new to Cpanel's layout. It takes a bit to get used to, but you'll get the hang of it!

    Thanks for the rep, again.

cpanels not that hard to use, its actually kind of user-friendly

however, some people might not understand what the different icons and stuff mean so it seems hard

anyways, if you want to upload files, i recommend getting a FTP client, i highly recommend FlashFXP

FTP is much better than using file manager in cpanel especially when uploading tons of files for a template or something similar

Actually, I've seen much more user-friendly Control Panels that were much more organized, though it was a custom control panel for my old host that they created. It was very neat and navigable; Cpanel could be a bit more precise.

If anyone needs help getting their FTP set up, I'll help. Simply add [email protected] to your MSN Contact List and I'll guide you through for free.
