For love, or For Credits?
Well which one is it. Sometimes i wonder. Gamerenders is a great site and i love it dearly but there is one problem, one thing that has corrupted Gamerenders and will continue doing so, the credits system

What the crdits system
Thats right its the seed of evil in Gamerenders, although it might might make Gamerenders unique and special, but at the same time it turns people jealous and greedy, The Renders pack sitchuation, what was it caused by, " Hey man that guy used my renders and didnt give me credits". It takes the joy and pride out of making sigs, you should make them for the fun of it not just to get some stupid credits.

Why was the reason you got Photoshop?
Why did you get it, so you can go on some site and earn points that most people dont use, or was it because you love gfx and everything about it?

I'm not saying get rid of it, but take it more lightly, don't get in fights over it

So there is one final question why do you do gfx For Love, or For Money

 

For love...


Im one of those people who just give out those extra few creds to people who just participate in my contests, or Ill let someone have some creds if their saving up for something, etc...creds doesnt mean much to me...


I do see your point about this tho and it is a very good point also...

MONEY:I liked the idea of a market system....id made me feel like i was developing more insight into the purchase and sell system.

Love: Now i just like helping people out. I've posted in several threads. If a noob or anyone doesn't have a sig, i'll gladly make them for free. and i don't mean a piece of junk either. also if someone needs credits, again, i'll gladly send some their way.

i believe people should not get up to the credits, because i believe their are better things to be fighting over then credits.

lol i dunno why but I compare this to the stats system of Halo2 lol ppl going crazy over it!

I hate all the noobs asking for creds if their renders are used.

im not good at rendering or making sigs.
but i got ps cs 8 to get into it.

 

People asking for cred and +rep. I say just get rid of both and see how people like it then.

 

Your not supposed to ask for +reps...plus I dont see the point of them..

rep matters if used properly.. just by looking at someones rep in most cases, you can tell whether or not they are cool or just some jackass

i cared about credits for a while in the beginning but now I just dont care at all..

 

i give credz to people who earn them or do soemthing cool i am very generous, but i dont goto renders section anymore cause i dotn use many renders only ones i need and if anyone needs credz ask me ill glady give some away

 

I dont care about the credits. They are nice to be able to give to someone for the work they did "sigs". I am still learning to make better sigs and backgrounds, and I generally give them away for free, along with brushes I got off the net. Why ask for creds if I didnt make them?

 

For both. I do it mostly for love because I just recently got into making sigs and it is as fun as "taking a ride on the reading railroad". But face it guys. Everyone knows that if there is forum "money" involved your going to do a better job on making your sig for someone else unless you're just lazy
