ok well i downloaded a trial version of photo shop cs. So then when i saved stuff instead of having the normal photoshop symbol it had that feather thing from cs. So i noticed that when i tryed to open something in normal photoshop it would just close. It does it with any format it doesnt matter what type. So i thought it was pretty annoying but once i delete cs it will go away. so i got rid of it and now it still doesnt work! Instead of having the normal photoshop sign now it has this . and it really pisses me off cause i used to make sigs on another site and now i cant because i cant go back and change things for people. So anyone that can solve my problem will get a +rep and like 5 credits. plzhelp me it really sucks!
the normal photoshop symbol is the feather thing from cs if you use cs. Just install it and if all the psds open in photoshop its fine. If they dont right click the files and go to properties and select them to open in photoshop.
basically you are saying you had photoshop cs trial installed and i'm guessing the 30 day trial was over and then you uninstalled it and it went back to you not having photoshop, that is what the logo is saying *you don't have any photoshop installed now* is my guess and the feather is for cs and the regular image will show if you had 7
umm sorta i reinstalled ps and now the regular icon is back but it still doest work i made a video of what happens but i dont know where to upload it.
k heres the link to the video tell me if it doesnt work ps troubles and some of the stuff has weird names but its just because i name stuff the first thing that pops into my head like theres a picture called poo but dont worry its not actually poo and dont ask about the wall paper stuff its a long story
hmm, big problem. Uninstall it and then reinstall as it seems that by installing the trial and then uninstalling it you might of damaged you ps7 install.
i did unistall then reinstall all that happened is that the normal photoshop icon is back when i save stuff but it still closes
Did you reinstall photoshop 7? What version of windows is yours cause I might be able to help with getting a photoshop upgrade.
omg!! im so happy!!! i just found out that imageready still works! i can open stuff in that! its not as good but its waaay better than having to redo everything!! im so happy!!! thanks to anyone that tried to help especially soari ill give you some creds for the trouble
