I 'm new here so not sure what the unwritten rules are and doent wanna do the noobdance on anybodys toes. If someone calls a request and says "I'll do it" does that mean others are no longer allowed to try? Often "I'll do it" doesnt do it or forgets to do it for all kinds of legitimate reasons. To me a call just means that at least someone is having a go at it and he/she is letting the requestor(?) know this. And for the makers it means "you dont HAVE to do this, this request wont die unfullfilled". Personnally I rarely call a sig, I just post when its done. When I call it or acknowledge a personal request I dont mind if someone else puts up his or hers proposal. If the requestor(?) prefers the other one, so be it... he/she gets what he/she prefers and I can learn/get inspiration.
No bro, you can do it, just for fun or something you know, like I did with the Tales of Symphonia sig, I just wanted to test something out, it is like giving them an extra free sig
What dark said basicly. But when they ask for a certain person I give the person they asked for a chance to do it. If they don't then I give it a shot.
