Your School Gfx Classes

does anyone here have actual classes at their school that teach programs like photoshop, flash, dreamweaver?

I wish my school would teach more of this, I want to learn flash but no one in my area knows it really well...

My school is actually really retarted, theres only 2 classes for photoshop which I took... I ended up teaching the class in some cases. The teachers taught us really pointless crap and it was messed up. In some cases, I had to teach the teachers or they'd make me stand up and show the class how I slice templates and code them lol

 

My high school had both photoshop and flash mx classes. Photoshop classes were ok 'cuz we could take another year of it and get better on it.
Flash MX classes sucked. They don't really teach you actionscript. <_<

 

My gfx class is awesome, I go to an art school so i have 6 art teachers. My digital art teacher is great. Were currently learning 3d modelling.

 

im taking a graphic designing class next year and im going to see what it is all about

 

I wish my school did, all we got is Cadd does that count? lol

 

my school doesn't have any graphics classes whatsoever,course i'm in 7th grade,that might have something to do with it

 

well the highschool im going to its gonna have gfx designing but majoring in it in college is stupid and all 4 years of highschool gfx classes is even dumber sry to say for people who want this to be carrer i know a person that has been desgning for 1 and a half years now and im better at web design sigs. etc......

 

Im taking Web Design next year. And if they have graphic designing, i'll probably take that as well.

 

I hate my ----in school... They have EVERY class u DON'T want to take.. like Art and Gym and uuhh.. Speech.. but the one that kicks me in the ass is the ----ing god damn mother ----ing Computer Technologies class.. All it is is Typing and making stickers something i can do in the comfort of my 2x2 box.... I mena.. I'm not a dumbass, I can type full-ass when I really try to and the keyboards are like LITERALLY 20 yrs old.. i'll get a pic of one.. some are still not in QWERTY format... I mean i'm the fastest typer in all of the high school classes and i don't even type the way they teach it. I also can type with good working and correct punctuation when i want to.. BUT that rarely happens I might be just rambling but i need to vent.. BADLY.. MY school treats us like we don't know what a mouse is. I mean they don't even know what Mozilla Firefox is. They use programs NOONE has ever heard of.. and all the pcs have like 3GB HD's and 32MB of ram.. with NICE 20inch monitors and 52X disk drives.. I took a computer coarse last year( manditory) and i thought the teachers mroe than they tought me.. i got like a 150%.. i aced everything and got extra credit on everything i did.. and then some..

 

hahaha that sucks man

they never get REAL gfx designers to teach these types of courses

My school teaches Photoshop Elements and Dreamweaver, but not entirely on those...it's a graphic design class..
