neither they both suck, they wont run d3 or hl2 for ----. save your money and get at least a 9800pro or better.
there is no such thing as a Geforce4 6600gt. idk where the *4* came from but w./e i would go with the ati b/c the other one is a no named brand. the official website doesnt even show the specs for it. it doesnt telll the clockrates and what type of memeory it has. but before you go with the 9250 make sure your motherboard and psu can handle it. according to what you say, your CPU and Memory are enough for any card. but its all about if you motherboard is made for an upgrade, can handle a new upgrade, and if your power supply is strong enough. <<you should have a minimum of 300watts *** neither they both suck, they wont run d3 or hl2 for ----. save your money and get at least a 9800pro or better.*** He is right nither cards will run doom3 or halflife too. but if your decision is between those two i would have to tell you to go with the 9250
are you retarded????!?!?! Ati cards are nothing compared to nvidia. Nvidia cards clock rates are way higher then ati lets take the 6600gt and the 9800pro for example. the 9800pro is running at 680 on 8x AGP. while the 6600gt runs a lil over 1200 at either 8x or 16x depending on wether you have the AGP version or the PCI express. and the 6600gt sells for about $50 cheaper and the 6800gt ultra blows the x850 away
tbh i cant be bothered going into technical detail but i would have the fx5700.....i play spearhead (mohaa) mainly and with the fx5700 you can get around 200-300 fps At the moment im running an ati firegel 8800 - Its a developers card, not a gaming card and i still get average 100-130 fps on my spearhead, sometimes 200 Just shows you dont always need a gaming card to game
The radeon is better, as far as im concerned radions are the best video cards, and in 2nd is the geforce series.
