    Hey,
I've had a problem recently where my IE has stopped working, yet my Firefox has continued fine. IE simply can't connect to the internet or something.
I've allowed it with my firewall and associated programs. I also can't do repair through Add/Remove Programs because it has disappeared from there.
    Can anyone help?

All I can say is do a virus, and spyware scan.

if you don't have a antispyware program get the new micosoft one it's really good.

If this doesn't help try going to firingsquad there is a lot more tech savvy people ther trust me.

Firefox is a lot better than IE so just stick with Firefox. And Firefox shows the sites correctly, while IE does not. (For some sites)

You can download IE from the Microsoft homepage...but I would stick with FireFox.

Firefox displays every page correctly, but IE does not. Just stick with Firefox.

That would be because IE uses non-standered specific code, in addition to not supporting most of the new CSS 2 and pretty much everything from CSS 3. It means that desiging web pages to work in the major browsers is almost impossible. try doing it yourself once ;). Anyway, stick with FF.

Okay, why are some of you guys telling him to sitck with FF, when he's asking to fix IE?

Well, with me, I had the same problem, and I also experienced the same problems, while I don't know the exact problem, after DLing the new Microsoft Antispyware, I was able to get back into IE (even though I stick to FF)
