ok i have ps 7 and it worked fine then i restared my comp and it says:could not initalze photoshop becouse there is not enough memory(ram) i tried to fix the prob by closing all programs but it still didn`t work can some1 please help me
hmmm try to press ctrl + alt + delete to bring up task manager, see how many processes are running, if theres over 37, theres a good chance that it means your virtual memory, therefore just right click the processes you dont need, and end process, then when you knocked a few off, it should run fine. Otherwise your ram is knackerd. Hope this was a help
no i have 3 things but still it doesnt run it is weird it worked fine then i restared my comp and it gives me the error
you needed to click processes, skip that 1..im not sure wat to suggest...could try these.. Reinstall Photoshop or Remove any plugins you put in your photoshop before you restarted (brushes filters etc)
Had this problem to, reinstall worked for me, get your important stuff one a disk or something so you can put back on later. It works for almost 80%...! Greetz
Well i guess the last thing you can do is to try either a different version of photoshop (i recommend cs.8) or else another copy of the one you have, then if it works you know its your disk, if it does the same you know its the system....theres so many possibilities... You just have to do trial and error really
haha download xp, put it on a disk, format and install windows xp Make sure you burn it to the disk proper otherwise ure fecked lol Or else if you have hard drive/partition, u cud format the 2nd one and install xp on that, then if you need your win98 when u boot up just select c:/ and if you need xp load up D:/ I did that with xp,corporate edition and xp media edition
Kind of off topic, but jay661, you have three seperate OS versions running off of the same comp? That's :censored: sweet!
