Everyone is bitching and complaining about how damned expensive it is, but if you all would spend a little bit of time researching it instead of pirating the software, you can easily find it for under $100. It's called reselling. Plenty of places either sell it for educational reasons or they sell previously owned copies in good-excellent condition for way below the market price. The majority of the purchases for photoshop are companies that buy out license agreements and more often than not, they buy more than just 1 copy. I don't really think that piracy contributes a whole lot to the price being high either(had a long discussion about this with a buddy the other day). He pointed out to me that if you look at video games, you see that the prices really haven't risen all that much over the years and yet there is loads of piracy there. I honestly think that Adobe charges so much for this product because as I said before, most of the license agreements are bought by other companies, who make a profit off this product in return. Just my $0.02.
