As you can tell I wasn't very active in this group. I do have a vague memory of when this site started. I joined maybe the week it came online. At the time, all the design websites were interconnected. I believe some of the guys from the Socom design community were involved in making this website. Socom was a game that was pretty big on the PS2 in 2002 - 2005 ish. Naturally, there was a design community associated with making clan templates and clan websites. I was apart of "Socom Central." It all bled into other "sig" and "avatar" making websites that were popular at the time. Two other sites I remember from 2004-ish were "The Sig Site" and Liquid Core. Anyways, that is a little bit of internet history for you. I wonder how long this piece of antiquity will stay online ? Surely someone has to be paying a monthly fee to keep it online.
