    Let's speculate:
How much did Llamaman sell Gamerenders to Shaggy for? ;)

I'd say about $50,000.. give or take.

Shaggy, feel free to disclose lol. I remember back when I used to visit this site on the daily I used to wonder how much this site got sold for.

Not necessarily. I was the one who broke the news to GR that Llamaman was going to sell GR. He had a lot of stuff on his plate, he had just started university or something like that.

If he had seen it coming, he wouldn't have started a signature website shortly after :P Or was it a tutorial site, I can't recall..

It's weird because GR used to have TONS of people here back in the day... It's not like all gfx forums are dead, some are thriving. It's just weird how a site as active as this could become so baron.

Yes I have the same thoughts. This site was extremely active for a graphics forum. I didn't know any bigger ones. But so much has changed.

It's an interesting study how internet communities form and die. And especially how you can prevent it from dieing.

Yeah I remember when this place was flowing with traffic...last time I visited was a couple years ago..slowly drifted away from graphic design.

Times change things went in different dicrections. GR still generates a lot of google hits which is keeping it alive.
