http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/index.html iphone 4, on Verizon. I personally am an original droid owner on Verizon and am not very patiently awaiting the LTE 4G android devices! Quite excited. Being a Radio Shack employee, I sell both iphone and android devices alike and I'd say there are pros and cons to each. Something I disliked at the beginning but have slightly warmed up to was that Apple Apps, have to be sent to Apple and tested for quantity and stability before being approved for release on their market where as Android does not. So with android you run into multiple issues with the apps crashing and freezing phones or just being junk.. but at the same time you have many different versions of the same app out there so you can take your pick. To each his own.. Here is a video that I found to be amusing. http://cnettv.cnet.com/reasons-android-better-than-iphone/9742-1_53-50095696.html?tag=api
Exactly, to each his own when it comes to open or closed dev environments. Quality control is important yes, but Apple has been a real Nazi about what goes on the market, and it's not always quality that gets apps thrown out. The android market is also not completely open, it's just less restrictive and has more useful apps that empower the users whether its for profit or not. That aside... when it comes to the devices, there's bad apps on all devices. That's always the case with 3rd party development on any platform. However, the hardware allows for a LOT more on Android and Win Phone 7 than the iPhone offers. And that's what matters most in my opinion. In a perfect world, iOS would run on multiple devices and would offer 2 app markets, an controlled Market, and a free market. The free market would allow for devs to come up with app ideas no matter stable or not.... and which ever users like most, apple, google, MS, or even the phone vendors could take the concept and perfect it.
I'd just like to bump this and lol at Clash for insisting his super duper source told him there would never be a Verizon iPhone.
I have a Droid Incredible and its great. Rooted and running on MIUI ROM, but I am sick of touch screen phones... Will get a keyboard phone my next upgrade, particularly the BlackBerry Bold 9930... It's looking great. Wish BB phone will be able to have access to the Android market like the BB Playbook will...
