So I'm not really new to gfx or tag making, but I had been on break on a long while, and figured I could get some more critique here since another forum I used to frequent is slightly on the dead side.

the focal points all seem very blurry i can't really see any details. optimus is very dark overall and it really needs more to go along with the background. the girl one blends ok but i would say she is too like the background in color. and bumblebee the smudging was ok but it just doesn't seem right to me. overall out of 5 i would give optimus a 2, the girl a 3 and bumblebee a 3

Thanks for your critique! You're right about the focal points on the first two, but Bee looks pretty clear to me, but I'll go back and tweak optimus a bit.

I'll break it down into 3 separate points for each piece.

    1. Firstly this signature piece is for me the strongest out of all three. It is a little dark in places, but it adds to the softness of the focal point which is Optimus. He is very soft and repeatedly I see pieces which are so sharp and distinct which is fine, but you show here that over sharpness is not needed, softness can be a good technique also. The only other concern I have about this one is that way you have positioned Optimus within the composition, for my taste he is too low down. Other than that the border lines at the top and bottom are a nice addition to genre of the signature, being cinema.

    2. The second one is good also but not my type of style which probably made me biased against the Optimus piece. I like the colours in this alot and think you have chosen them wisely as it shows the femininity of the subject. Her position is not something I like though as it kind of contrasts as she is taking more of a portrait style pose where as the piece of obviously way more wide. than it is tall. The effects you have used for the sig are pretty good I like how you've executed them.

    3. This one is good also, however my main concern with this one is the colours, I personally don't think they are two colours to put together, maybe a little experiment with background colours for this one would of been wise. The white bar to the left is irrelevant to everything else in the piece and I don't think anything gain's from it being there. The depth and blur you have used here is perfect it concentrates the face. Like somebody above said about Bee not being clear. That's not your fault really, blame the Director of the film for that one haha.

Nice work though, can't wait to see more!
