Well for your tags with renders, instead of just placing them on and making backgrounds as it seems your doing, try blending techniques.
Thanks for the advice guys. I know what you mean, and I hope to improve on these a lot more. So something like duplicate the render, maybe mess with it somewhat, and then mess with the original as well? Or something different?
Not bad. I like your first one (get rid of those borders, its nice enough without them!) 1. try to blend your render more with your background 1. Add more depth to it using levels, curves and gradient map
for now, try blending the images try not adding borders first, improve on the composition itself avoid bevel and emboss and outer glow on the render and borders if ever
I've been busy with school;this one I used a stock for, so I dunno so much about it. This one was mostly messing around with brushes and more clipping masks, but I hope it's decent. It's a black border, not a good blend with the forum background.
